Enhancing richness with PPV Degassing Technology
The heart of BestCup’s new production line is an advanced degassing system engineered in-house. This proprietary PPV degassing equipment uses alternating bursts of nitrogen pressure pulses combined with a vacuum assist to remove trapped gases from freshly filled coffee pods. By rapidly flushing out oxygen and carbon dioxide, the system ensures each coffee pod is sealed in an optimal atmosphere. The result is markedly improved coffee freshness—aromas and flavors are preserved at their peak, and the coffee tastes as if it were brewed from beans degassed naturally over several days.

BestCup has broken through the accepted ceiling of quality for a pod-brewed coffee with a new grinding technology called KMS; for Kinetic Mass Separation. First, it minimizes the cellulose coffee husk that ends up in your coffee. Also known as “chaff”, this unwanted byproduct of grinding coffee adds sour and undesirable flavor to coffee. KMS also removes coffee micro fines from the grind, minimizing unwanted micro fines that will quickly turn stale and yield bitterness.
